Blogs are forums to express private opinions. But does needless cussing belong here? Vituperation does not need embellishments of this kind. I think the language contains sufficient "yell" words that are probably more effective. Excessive bad language just distracts the readers from the actual import of the blog-- serves no purpose really--and does not help establish any particular rapport with the author. In fact, the blog sets itself up to losing its readers. Wherein lies the attraction to cuss? I think the swearing is viewed as a sign of individuality; the arrogance stems from a security that the anonymity of the internet readership provides. Instead of building an atmosphere of informality where interaction is made possible, the blog merely reveals an abrasive personality.
Perhaps I am being harsh myself, and I am taking all the cussing too seriously. What the heck do I know?
